Spain's new-car sales up 17% in November on subsidy boost

New-car sales in Spain rose 17 percent to 65,122 in November, the 15th consecutive month of growth, thanks in part to the support of a governmental scrappage scheme, car manufacturers' association Anfac said today. The government extended the PIVE subsidy scheme that offers price cuts on new low-emission vehicles at the end of the month, Anfac said in a statement.
