Spandex prices have continued slightly declining in the last weeks, reflecting the weakness in demand from fabric and apparel producers. Excess supply is further depressing prices, by contrast with a rebound or a stability of other textile fibers so far this year. Our monthly report covers spandex and PTMEG prices on the domestic Chinese market, with gross margin trends at spandex plants on a daily and monthly basis. Daily data over the last 12 months are available for download.
