Sprint signs network-bolstering deals worth $2.1B

Sprint Corp. has signed a series of financing agreements that will offer it $2.1 billion to purchase network equipment. The Overland Park-based carrier announced three new vendor-financing facilities Wednesday that aim to bolster the company's network as it continues with a nationwide revamp and expansion of its grid.
