Conserving time as well as expenses on jobsite, Steel City® 4 in. Square Open Back Box allows wiring of pre-installed device from back without removal of mud ring from front of box to make connections. Installers can, after making connections, close box with blank cover. Boxes are available in shallow (1 ½ in. deep) or deep (2 1/8 in. deep) models, and mounting screws on both sides accommodate mud ring on front and blank cover on back. Ground wire clips are also available.
