With 0–400 Hz output frequency and integrated input fusing to provide 100 kA SCCR, Z1000U comes in NEMA 1 models with ratings of 1–100 hp (208 V) and 7.5–350 hp (480 V). Matrix technology, which employs 9 bi-directional switches, eliminates need for rectifying circuit and DC bus while reducing THD to less than IEEE compliance standard of 5% without reactors and filters. Resulting current waveform smoothness reduces stress while improving displacement power factor to 0.98.
