Sponsored by AASHTO, AAA, and U.S. Chamber of Commerce, America's Transportation Awards competition recognizes best of America's transportation projects in 3 main categories: Ahead of Schedule, Under Budget, and Best Use of Innovation. Nine transportation projects from 6 western states were nominated. Per category, winners were Idaho and Oklahoma (Ahead of Schedule), California (Under Budget), and Arizona, South Dakota, and Utah (Best Use of Innovation).
