State's funding of MTA budget protested by transit advocates

Chelsea Yamada, with the Riders Alliance, attempts to use a satirical fare card at the Bowling Green subway station in Manhattan on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, to protest what the group says is the state's failure to fully fund the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's capital program. Members of Straphangers Campaign also participated in the protest.
