'Steady' sales expected

The abundance of listings and low mortgage rates make for a busy home-buying season, but employment isn't as rosy as in previous years. Interest rates on five-year closed mortgages -- the most popular term with homebuyers -- are the lowest they've ever been, with some non-bank lenders offering them for as low as 2.59 per cent.
