Steel Dynamics Inc. , reported to be the fifth largest producer of carbon steel products in United States, has broken ground on its new $100 million paint line and Galvalume facility in Columbus, MS. The project, originally announced in May 2015, is expected to be complete and ready for operation during the first quarter of 2017, the Mississippi Governor's Office announced , Jan. 25, the day of the groundbreaking ceremony.
