RSC series includes R&S RSC base units with or without internal step attenuator and 2 external step attenuators. Latter covers frequencies up to 67 GHz and lets users attenuate signal power step by step manually or by remote control. Every base unit can control up to 4 external step attenuators in parallel. Handling signals up to 18 GHz, base unit with internal step attenuator comes in versions that respectively offer 139, 139.9, and 115 dB max attenuation and 1, 0.1, and 5, dB step size.
