We are currently looking for a Stress Engineer Structural Mechanics to support our customer in Germany. Stress Engineer Structural Mechanics Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Stress Engineer Structural Mechanics for our customer who develops communication solutions to establish dynamic communication networks in air and in space, you will have the following responsibilities Conceptual analysis and development of optomechanical components Optimization of existing systems Static as well as dynamic simulation e.g. random vibrations and evaluation of components and assemblies using analytical and numerical methods CADmodeling and simplification for simulation Documentation and reconditioning of calculation results Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external partners. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in aerospace engineering or another relevant discipline Several years of experience as stress engineer in the aerospace field Profound knowledge of technical mechanics and strengths of materials Experience with CAD softwarePDM systems and simulations tools preferably Inventor, Comsol Experience in processing and presenting results Independent and resultsoriented way of working Teamoriented, with experience working in project teams Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
