Strike at Tata Motors unit: Farmers set to join workers' protest near Sanand plant

As many as 384 workers from Tata Motors' Sanand plant were detained Monday morning when they held a demonstration outside the office of Ahmedabad collector without permission. The Tata Motors' workers, who are on a strike since February 22 against the suspension of 22 co-workers, were joined by the representatives of around 22 central and city-based trade unions.
