Strong futures sweeten sugar

Sugar market shot up tracking extended gain in futures amid higher retail and bulk demand. Maharashtras producers sold the commodity at 20-30 a quintal higher. Naka rates also went up by 40-70. Arrivals to the Vashi market remained stable at 60-61 truck loads while local dispatches increased to 62-63 loads.
