What do technology companies Salesforce , Microsoft and Square have in common with some of San Francisco's traditional companies like Charles Schwab , Del Monte Foods and Gymboree? They're all looking to find takers for their empty office spaces. The amount of sublease space in San Francisco is about to hit about 1.7 million square feet, the most since 2009, as I reported yesterday .
