After collecting, aggregating, and processing data from many intelligent devices in substation, Multilin™ D20MX communicates data to central location, providing visibility into what is happening in entire network of substations. Utilities can also use controller to perform automation tasks such as load monitoring, load balancing, and outage detection. Instructions can be sent from central control center to D20MX in remote substations to help centralize control of grid to optimize efficiency.
