Sunderland-based SCS appoints Chris Muir as new chief financial officer

Chris Muir will join the sofa retailer in April, after spending 12 years at Northgate Plc, including a spell as acting group CEO Furniture firm SCS has appointed Chris Muir as their new chief financial officer after a director behind the retailer's return to the stock market decided to resign. Mr Muir starts at the listed Sunderland sofa firm on April 4 , when he also joins as an executive board director, after spending more than 12 years at vehicle hire firm Northgate Plc, based in Darlington, County Durham.
