More than 700 people volunteered in April to help clean up the Perkiomen Creek Watershed.<br /> <br /> The volunteers cleared trash and recyclables from 44 locations along local creeks on April 12, removing 550 bags of debris, 130 tires and 3,000 pounds of scrap metal.<br /> <br /> The watershed conservancy offered thanks to all those who participated this year whether on foot, by boat or in trucks.<br /> <br /> The conservancy also thanked community sponsors including Perkiomen Creek ...
