The Supreme Court's historic ruling Friday on gay marriage sparked a tidal wave of comments on social media with brands such as Southwest Airlines , Visa and YouTube jumping in on the discussion. YouTube tweeted a video compilation of people who had used the streaming service to publicly come out and added the caption, "The United States took a step in the right direction today," which garnered over 21,000 favorites and nearly 16,000 retweets.
