Survey Shows IBR, BVD Vaccines Most Important

A survey of veterinarians and beef producers, sponsored by Zoetis, shows that protection against abortions caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) in cows and fetal protection against bovine viral diarrhea persistent infection (BVD-PI) in calves is the most important vaccine consideration.1 Beyond that, respondents say that just sticking a needle in the cow isn’t enough—the vaccine has to demonstrate duration of immunity and safety. read more
