Suspensions ramp up tensions between Southwest Airlines, ground workers union

Southwest Airlines ramp worker Melinda Miles and other members of Transportation Workers Union Local 555 rallied for a new labor contract at the entrance to Dallas Love Field in November 2014. The Transport Workers Union says the Dallas-based airline last week suspended 105 members without pay for 45 days to 90 days for attending union meetings last month.
