(Telecompaper) Swedish cable operator Com Hem is increasing the top speeds on its broadband services and launching an offer of 500 Mbps. The top speed is available to over 1 million households on its fibre-coax network and offers an upload speed of 50 Mbps. The 500 Mbps service comes with a router supporting the new Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac and will cost SEK 899 per month. Com Hem also raised the speed of its next highest offer to 250 Mbps from 200, while the price is unchanged at SEK 499 per month.
