Summit® X450-G2 fixed switches and other select Summit switches support secure, role-based policy management technology. Integration of policy and security management technology into ExtremeXOS® operating system lets users define and manage end-to-end policy in mixed wired and wireless environments. Policies are defined and centrally managed by single pane-of-glass management system (NetSight™), and Summit X450-G2 also supports automation capabilities with southbound APIs.
