Integrating 4 synchronous buck switching regulators and 8 power MOSFETs, Model TPS65400 offers efficiency up to 95%. Each switching converter supplies 2 A or 4 A output to efficiently power digital circuits such as processor, FPGA, ASIC, memory, and digital I/O. Switching frequency is independently adjustable up to 2.2 MHz. Powered from 4.5–18 V single-input voltage rail, DC/DC converter supports applications running off 5 V or 12 V intermediate power distribution bus.
