Telespazio VEGA Deutschland has been supporting the European Space Industry for over 30 years, including ESA, DLR, EUMETSAT and CNES. This is an opportunity for a Galileo Subsystem Engineer with some experience of Galileo ground segment to start latest 1th of August 2015. The position is based in onsite at our customers premises near Munich. The submission deadline for interested candidates is 15th of July 2015. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Support our customer for Integration and Validation Qualification of Galileo Mission System GMS Integration, validation and qualification IVQ of the Mission Data Dissemination Network MDDN Integration, validation and qualification of Galileo Mission System GMS components Support of other IVQ activities Analysis of system requirements QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE Engineering degree, Computer engineering or any other IT related stream Some experience of Space Industry SQL Databases CISCO certification TCPIP, IPX, FibreChannel, Routers, Switches, Firewalls Preferably, some knowledge of programming in C, C UNIX, LINUX Be fluent in English, both in speaking and writing ESSENTIAL SKILLS Ability to think in an analytical way Collaborative and team worker Good communication skills Solution oriented DESIRABLE SKILLS Computer Programming skills BENEFITS Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
