This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. System Engineer 1820024 Job Description We are looking for a System Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. You will contribute to activities typically related to Phase CD of a space programme in the area of system design engineering, Integration, Verification and Validation, Operation preparation and performance budget management. You will provide service to the Sentinel6JasonCS project, with potential support to other LEO programmes. Your system engineering activities will include Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets General contribution to system engineering activities, for example Documentation of system design and interfaces Contribute to system integration, verification and validation activities Contribute to operation preparation activities Contribute to the technical coordination with Partners Contribute to segment level activities and reviews as required Participate to System level formal reviews and key points. Required Skills and Experience A university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile together with the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks without supervision. At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of large scale systems engineering, architectural design and system preparation for launch Demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective Capability to prepare documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets. Travel within Europe and to the USA may be required for certain activities.
