LSE Space is looking for an experienced Engineer mf in order to fulfill the task of System Engineer mf at our customer EUMETSAT in DarmstadtGermany. The primary responsibilities of this role will be The tasks to be fulfilled are related to Phase BC of a space program in the area of system design engineering and architecture definition Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets General contribution to system engineering activities, for example Documentation of system design and interfaces. Contribute to the technical coordination with Partners. Contribute to segment level activities and reviews as required. Participate to System level formal reviews. Requirements The candidate needs to show proven experience in the following fields Demonstrated experience in the field of large scale systems engineering and architectural design Demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective Capability to prepare design documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets. Additional skills and experience would be a plus Experience in earth observation satellitebased projects, particularly in the areas of nearreal time data processing or spacecraft control systems Experience with Model Based System Engineering with the support of dedicated tools e.g. CORE Space and ground system engineering processes and standards. Academic and work related requirements A University degree in a relevant discipline is required. Perfect command of English, verbal and written. Knowledge of French would be an asset.
