For Astrium Satellites in Friedrichshafen within the area System Performance Verification User Ground Segment for the department System Performance Verification User Ground Segment we are looking for a System Engineer mf Ground Systems. Ground System project. The focus is on overall ground segment systemengineering, architecture as well as interfaces to other domains such as space segment and Instrument. The task includes definition of applicable engineering processes, methods and tools for the project. The domain covers also GS operations, logistics, integration test as well as ITsecurity. Specific tasks are Coordination of projectexternal engineering interfaces with the customer Coordination of technical team of Ground Segment System and Development Engineers responsible for Ground Segment requirements analysis Ground Segment architecture definition Execution of design tradeoffs Identification of Ground Segment internal and external interfaces and definition of the respective ICDs Specification of Ground Segment HW SW elements Definition of a GS CONOPS and GS opearations concepts Representation of the Ground Segment engineering tasks at the customer Participation in workshops and coengineering meetings with the customer Technical management of subcontractors Definition of Ground Segment engineering process Evaluation and selection of Ground Segment engineering framework and toolset Generation of Ground Segment engineering documentation If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com.
