Vitrociset Belgium is looking for a candidate with the profile described below to deploy in EUMETSAT Please submit applications not later than 101014 by EMAIL to Mr. Massimiliano Mazza, Head of Engineering Operations Services M.Mazzavitrocisetbelgium.com cc. jobsvitrocisetbelgium.com PROFILE The Key person shall have a university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile together with the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision. Knowledge and experience with the following is considered mandatory Extensive System Engineering life cycle experience for the development of remote sensing and Earth observation systems At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of systems engineering and architectural design ISO, Software development, and Space and Ground System engineering processes and standards. Experience in Model Based System engineering methods, techniques and tools Experience in the use of modelling and design tools in support of architectural design activities e.g. CORE Knowledge and experience with the following is considered an advantage Definition, management and traceability of requirements structure with the support of dedicated tools e.g. DOORS Good knowledge of at least 2 of the following and an overview of the others i Networking Communications, ii Ground Stations, iii Near RealTime Data Processing, iv Monitoring and control of satellites, v Monitoring and control of ground systems Data communication networks and protocols. The variety of the tasks and the scope of the systems to be supported require a high degree of autonomy and good analytical skills. The Key person shall be in possession of sound interpersonal skills to conduct the responsibilities described above autonomously and with aminimum level of supervision, exhibiting good oral and written communications skills, analytical capabilities, and motivation.
