This post is classified in the A2A4 grade band of the Coordinated Organisations salary scale. LOCATION ESTEC, Noordwijk Netherlands, with resident assignment in Toulouse France. DUTIES The postholder will be deployed in the EGNOS and SBAS Division, Strategy and Programme Department, Directorate of the Galileo Programme and Navigation Related Activities. The incumbent will report to the head of the GNSS System Security Office and will liaise closely with the EGNOS Security Engineer. The main duties will include the definition of the EGNOS System Security Requirements, in line with applicable Mission Level Security Requirements the flowdown of these requirements to the different EGNOS segments the maintenance of the statement of compliance of Mission Level Security Requirements and the System Security Requirements through the development and deployment of the EGNOS system the design and development of the Ground Mission and Support Segment during its evolution the definition of the security technical measures in support of the security risk treatment required to cover identified security risk the Security support to the EGNOS NonConformance and Verification Review Boards, in identifying potential impact on Security requirement implementation within the EGNOS system provision of support to the Mission Security Engineering Board provision of support to the EGNOS Security Accreditation Panel. The incumbent will work closely with the EGNOS System Security Accreditation Engineer and the EGNOS Ground Segment and Ops Security Engineer colocated in Toulouse as well as with the GNSS Security Team located at ESTEC. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants for this post should have a Masters degree or equivalent qualification in engineering together with experience in security architecture and security hardening. Experience in security risk analysis will be considered an asset. Candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be able to work autonomously, effectively and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment and to define and implement solutions in line with team and individual objectives and project deadlines. They should also be willing to travel. Applicants should also have good analytical, organisational and reporting skills, a proactive attitude to solving problems and an interest in innovative technologies. Candidates must be eligible for security clearance by their national security administration. For behavioural competencies expected from ESA staff, please refer to the ESA Competency Framework. The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these languages is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
