Seamlessly connected to operator's network, Model BCM88312 enables carriers to add new services in dynamic, multi-vendor environment. Integrated, programmable device is equipped with dual Cortex A9 cores at 1.2 GHz; 8-port GE switch, Serdes, and copper PHYs; programmable processor forwarding engine; and support for 1588v2/SyncE. SoC can be managed over OpenFlow, based on OpenFlow-Data Plane Abstraction layer framework, extending OF-DPA from infrastructure core to business CPE access.
