Location Merritt Island, Florida The Challenge The Systems Engineer will work on the Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE and support the satellite Assembly Integration and Test AIT activities for the satellite production line. The Systems Engineer will support the network, design, definition, implementation and operations ensuring the correct functioning of the integrated EGSE. This position will also be required to support the AIT engineers in development and maintenance of test procedures using the CCS5 test language TOPEtcl. This position will include initial training in Leiden, Netherlands andor customer premises in ToulouseFrance. Job Requirements Installation and configuration of the Central Checkout System and other EGSE elements Installation and configuration of the Central Checkout System Operational support on CCS system CCS5 Validate interface between CCS and EGSE elements CCSSEGSE anomaly investigation CCS customization for customer need EGSE Network management Writingmaintaining test procedures Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering or related field and minimum 2 years work experience in Engineering OR equivalent experience Required Skills and Experience Experience in Central Checkout Systems and EGSE Experience in Linux and Windows environment usage and administration Knowledge of spacecraft test or operation languages ELISA, TOPE, STOL, SPELL Experience with CCSDS Packet TelemetryTelecommand Standards, PUS Experience with MySQL and Virtual Machine environment VMWare Familiarity with MS Office applications Ability to communicate in small working groups or program teams Ability to work in multidisciplinary team environment Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as with team members in remote locations Ability to work with international team members Excellent oral and written communication skills Willingness to travel 10 CONUS and OCONUS The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance Preferred Education and Skills AIT experience Operational support experience Experience in the space environment For further information, please contact in the USA Mrs. Olivia Hortman olivia.hortmantermana.com or in Europe Mr. Guido Damm gudaterma.com by email.
