Tasks and Responsibilities Requirements Engineering and tracing requirements verification throughout the Vmodel. Systems Engineering in the areas of mechanical, thermal, electrical, electronics, and communication engineering. CommercialOffTheShelf COTS and HiRel equipment procurement management. Technical management of subcontractors mechanical, electrical, analyses, testing. Manage design, manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing of ground support equipment and ground models of the flight hardware. Qualifications and Experience For this position we are looking for engineers with the following background and skills Masters degree in a relevant engineering discipline systems, mechanics, electronics, aeronautics, etc. Experience with flight systempayload hardware development, preferably involving mechanics and electronics.. Experience with space systemstesting, verification and qualification. Experience with the ECSS processes for space system development and verification. Experience with rugged and embedded computer systems. Experience with systems development for spaceflight in general and ISS in particular. Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
