T-Mobile expands Knippr to Apple TV, Chromecast

(Telecompaper) T-Mobile Netherlands announced that its OTT video service now works over the latest Apple TV and Google Chromecast. As a result, users can watch the service on a connected TV. T-Mobile said it will also soon make Knippr available on older versions of Apple TV, via AirPlay. Stoneroos developed the Apple TV app, as well as the 'My Knippr' interface and web TV application for the service. Knippr was launched in June, after an extensive testing period, and T-Mobile also recently expanded the number of channels available on the service.
