Using double cursor display for zoom analysis, Model A0N00019 is used to test underground cables to find impedance break points, cable damage, and terminal impedance failures in HFC systems. Unit tests 25, 50, 75, and 100 Ω impedance cables up to 2 km long with ±1 m ±1% accuracy and 5% impedance resolution. Powered by 7.2 V, 1.8 Ah Ni-MH batteries, handheld tester operates continuously for 8 hours and can also be used to indicate short circuits, open circuits, or high resistance points.
