(Telecompaper) Telephone and Data Systems (TDS) has agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of a group of companies operating as BendBroadband, headquartered in Bend, Oregon. The acquisition price reaches USD 261 million. BendBroadband reproted revenues of USD 70 million in 2013 and has 280 employees. The transaction is expected to close in this year's third quarter, pending regulatory approvals and other conditions.
