(Telecompaper) Telecom Italia (TIM) is preparing to lead Italy's digital revolution in close collaboration with other companies, said the company's CEO Amos Genish at an event in Turin. Revealing that TIM will unveil a new three-year business plan to position the group as a "pure digital player and not a telecoms operator" in February or March 2018, Genish said TIM is in the best position in Italy to lead the next wave of digital transformation in view of its existing EUR 4 billion investment and a determination to focus on future-proof technology rather than legacy networks.
