TNT Express to Raise Profitability on Cost Cuts, IT Spending

Dutch logistics company TNT Express NV said profitability in its international business will climb to as much as 10 percent of sales as it cuts costs and upgrades its information-technology systems. Earnings before interest and taxes in the company's international operations will amount to between 8 percent and 10 percent of sales by 2019, while the domestic units will earn a margin of 4 percent to 5 percent, the company today said.
