TNT says profit falls, 2015 a 'challenging' year

Dutch parcel TNT Express N.V. Monday reported a 71% fall in third quarter adjusted operating income, warning of a challenging year ahead, marked by the ramp-up of new and upgraded facilities and the impending merger with FedEx Corp. in a $5 billion deal. The company said that it expects to book restructuring charges of about 10 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2015.
