Supplied as pellets in 1,000 lb quantities, 8088N and 8088BL are general-purpose thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) that pass FMVSS302 specifications for flammability and are capable of being overmolded onto PP. Shear dependent 8088N is Shore A 88, colorable TPE formulated for processing on thermoplastic equipment for injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding. As Shore A 90, black, lubricated TPE, 8088BL suits applications requiring impact resistance and reduced coefficient of friction.
