Based on towable trailer, SkyStar™ 180 has stabilized day/night electro-optical payload suspended from helium-filled aerostat tethered to ground system. It operates continuously at wind velocity of up to 40 knots and lifts up to 8.5 kg payload, providing surveillance coverage from up to 600 ft for 72 hr. Continuously conducting day and night ISR operations at 1,500 ft, SkyStar 300 lifts payload and communication relay (50 kg max) and can remain aloft for 72 hr.
