S Ramadorai, a veteran Tata Group executive, credited with steering Tata Consultancy Services to becoming one of the world's largest information technology services company, retired on October 6, having attained the superannuation age of 70. Ramadorai was the second high-profile executive, who helped shape important businesses within the salt-to-software conglomerate, to retire in recent times after Tata Sons' former chairman Ratan Tata retired in December 2013.
