2015-01-30 09:49:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Tele2 forecast stable results in 2015. After a 1 percent rise in revenues last year to SEK 25.96 billion, the operator forecast revenues of SEK 25.5-26.5 billion in 2015. Mobile service revenue is expected to grow in mid-single digits, compared to a 7 percent increase in 2014. Adjusted EBITDA is estimated at SEK 5.8-6.0 billion in 2015, little changed compared to SEK 5.926 billion in 2014, when the result was up 1 percent. Capital expenditure will increase to SEK 3.8-4.0 billion this year from SEK 3.5 billion in 2014. Tele2 said it will also invest SEK 200 million in 'The Challenger Program', an amount excluded from its outlook. The three-year programme is expected to provide SEK 1 billion in benefits and require the same amount in total investments. Tele2 took SEK 10 million of the costs already in Q4 2014. The company said it will focus on the continued expansion of its 4G mobile services this year, building on its success in Sweden with expansion in the Netherlands and Baltics. The sale of Tele2 Norway is expected to receive regulatory approval in Q1. Tele2 also increased its dividend for the year to SEK 4.85 per share from SEK 4.40 in 2013.
