RHEA is currently recruiting a Telecom Payload Engineer to support the Payload Engineering Section TECETP in the RF Systems, Payload and Technology Division at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Participating in internal RD activities and support to projects in the domain of navigation payloads Galileo, EGNOS, GNSS evolutions andor Earth Observation instruments. Involved with internal research work on advanced payload and instruments concepts Involved in computer simulation at system and subsystem level of the related performance. For navigation payloads of particular relevance will be the assessment of the impacts of payload distortions in the quality of the Signal In Space. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory A university Masters degree on telecommicrowaveRFElectromagnetics related studies At least 4 years of experience in the relevant field. Good knowledge of software tools Matlab, Simulink, ADS, C, C, Experience in the domain of navigation payload andor remote sensing instruments including architecture tradeoffs. The following skills would be highly desirable The knowledge of stateoftheart RF analogue and highspeed digital processing techniques and technologies, computer simulation techniques and on board equipment definition and specification will be an asset.
