(Telecompaper) Telefonica is considering launching an OTT video streaming service outside its home market in Europe, in order to monetize its growing audiovisual production, El Pais reports. At the moment the programmes are only available over its Movistar+ service in Spain, but this could be expanded to other European countries such as Germany and the UK, sources familiar with the project told the paper.
