Telekom Slovenije sells 50% stake in Gibtelecom

(Telecompaper) Telekom Slovenije said it has signed an agreement to sell a 50 percent stake in Gibtelecom to the Gibraltar Government, which owns the remaining 50 percent, for EUR 47.7 million. The sale is part of Telekom Slovenije's plan to exit non-core businesses in order to improve its financial position. The transaction is expected to be completed in December.
