Telenor Serbia provides free internet for refugees

2015-08-31 09:01:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Telenor Serbia has activated a free wireless internet zone in the park in front of Belgrade's main bus station, reports Fonet. In recent weeks, this location has become a makeshift refugee camp for migrants and refugees, waiting for transport to take them north to Serbia's border with Hungary. Another open area of wireless internet will start operation in the next few days in the second busiest location for the gathering of refugees in the nearby park in front of the Faculty of Economics. Soon Telenor will activate a special page that will automatically open on each device when connecting to any of Telenor's wireless internet open zones, with specific information relevant to the refugees in Belgrade.
