(Telecompaper) In an executive management shake-up, TeliaSonera has named Helene Barnekow its new EVP Sweden. Malin Frenning will take on a new role as SVP overseeing technology and transformation while CTO Sverker Hannervall will leave. Barnekow has been with TeliaSonera since April 2014 as head of Group Commercial. She previously worked for EMC, SonyEricsson and Ericsson. Frenning will oversee Group Technology and the ongoing transformation programme called "Invest to save". She has a long background in TeliaSonera and Telia. Hannervall will leave TeliaSonera after seven years in group executive management in various positions. During his notice period of twelve months, he will remain as a senior adviser to CEO and GEM in ICT related strategic matters. For Group Commercial, Jonas Hasselberg and Jannike Gruner will be co-acting group CCO and for group Technology, Staffan Akesson will be acting group CTO. All changes will go into effect on 1 July.
