Tencent's Q3 profit jumps 69%, revenues climb 61%

(Telecompaper) Chinese internet group Tencent reported third-quarter total revenues of CNY 65.2 billion, which represents an increase of 61 percent year-on-year. Revenue growth was mainly boosted by smartphone games and PC games, payment related services, digital content subscriptions and sales, and online advertising, the company said. Tencent's operating profit rose 57 percent year-on-year. Profit jumped 69 percent year-on-year to CNY 18 billion.
