Texas Instruments Q3 View Misses, Cites Comms Weakness

Analog chip titan Texas Instruments this afternoon reported Q2 revenue just slightly below consensus, but beat on the bottom line, forecast this quarter's revenue and earnings below consensus, citing in particular a breakdown in demand in the communcations market. Revenue in the three months ended in June fell 1.8%, year over year, to $3.23 billion, yielding EPS of 65 cents.
