After several years of trading places with Irving-based oil giant Exxon Mobil on Fortune magazine's annual rankings, the retailer now has a $100 billion lead. Wal-Mart, which is also the world's largest retailer, had sales last year of $485.7 billion vs. Exxon Mobil's $382.6 billion, which was pulled down by lower oil prices.
